National Pizza Day is every February 9th. It doesn’t matter what town it hales from or what style it is. Pizza is an American favorite. As a result, pepperoni is the most popular of all pies ordered. Also, each year 3 billion pizzas are sold. In addition, there are 1 billion in frozen pizzas in sales. Gennaro Lombardi was the first U.S. pizzeria that opened in 1738 in NYC. Lastly, Americans eat an average of twenty-three pounds of the pie, per person every year. Just can’t get enough of it!

So, let this day be the day you treat yourself to a slice of heaven. Throw a pizza party with pie from Connie’s Pizza (Chicago), Di Fara Pizza (New York), Argosy (Atlanta) or Crust (Miami).
