One of Chicago’s most entertaining neighborhood’s will be hosting an event. River North will be having their 16th annual Taste of River North festival. Taste of River North will take place in Ward Park, 630 N. Kingsbury St. This is a 3-day event. This family- friendly event will start Friday, July 21 from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., Saturday, July 22 from 12:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., and Sunday, July 23 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. The River North Residents Association is presenting and Ravenswood Special Events and Duff Entertainment are producing the taste. The top sponsors are East Bank Club, Bud Light, Goose Island, and WKQX.
Attendees can expect many pop-up shops from local artisans and designers, live-music, and a variety of chefs tasting samples. The pop up restaurants are:

- Hutch American Bistro
- Motel Bar
- Roy’s Chicago
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House
- STK Chicago
- Taco Joint
River North Taste Activities
Lurie’s Kid Activity Area will also be joining the festival this year. Boy Band Review will be taking the stage on Friday, July 21st. Sixteen Candles will in attendance on stage Saturday, July 22, and The Heard will be preforming Sunday, July 23rd. Additionally, opening acts will be on the scene to perform. Early morning attendees can get a workout provided by East Bank. The Chicago River will be in sight on end of the festival and the Chicago’s Skyline will be on the other end. Therefore, everyone will able to enjoy leading attractions in one spot. 20,000 people is the expected population for this festival.
In addition, a $5.00 admittance charge for each day is suggested.
