History of EC-10
The Chicago Urban League Entrepreneurship Center is presenting their 10- year anniversary, EC-10. The Chicago Urban League Entrepreneurship Center was founded in 2007. African-Americans acquired assistance to start and grow their businesses. Therefore, the Chicago Urban League Entrepreneurship provided business owners with necessarily tools to reduce costs, maximize revenues, and increase profits. Also, the center help businesses obtain supplier diversity certificates.
The Celebration is schedule for Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Savage Smyth is the location for this event. Savage Smyth exact location is 920 North Franklin in Chicago, IL 60610. The set theme for the event is “Honoring our Past, Innovating for the Future #EC10 .” Most of all, the purpose of this fundraiser event is to strengthen the African American business community in the future and also, honor reflect on the Entrepreneurship Center’s achievements.
First, EC-10 will kick-off with an individual donor drive. $10 per month for a year is the asking donation. The donation will support the programming of the Entrepreneurship Center. Furthermore, guests will be able to enjoy a “Taste of EC.” Second, during the Taste of EC, guests will enjoy cocktails, food, and desert samples while networking. In addition, the taste of the EC exhibition will include, Chocolate Moonshine, Pennies Tea, Unbeatable Eatables, Laine’s Bakeshop, Jimmy’s Vegan Cookies, TeaSquares, Equisite Catering and Events, Synergy Foods, True Flav’r Catering, Ain’t She Sweet, Catering Out the Box, Drinks on Me Catering, Pocket Full of Cup Cakes, Jennifer Eddibles, Clark Catering, and Sangria Love.
Lastly, there will be 2 keynote speakers, Stephanie Hickman and Trevon Willkins. Stephanie Hickman is President and CEO of Trice Construction. In 2015, Also, she was the CMSDC Supplier of the year. Trevon Willkins is Co-Founder and CEO of Kudzoo App. He was also Forbes 30 under 30 honoree.
